“The Loft in the Mill” stands in the heart of the picturesque Dandenong Ranges, when they recently decided to replace and upgrade their signage presence they asked iD Signs to install something very special to make a grand statement at this boutique accommodation complex.
The luxury accommodation is set within lush landscaped gardens in a replica of a 19th century bluestone English Flour Mill and Carriage House. The decision to use brass as a feature material on all the new signage was driven by the desire to emphasize the luxurious heritage look. This material was used on almost all the new signage and wayfinding throughout the complex.
The main sign at the car park entrance was a tricky proposition. As per the clients request, the car park entrance sign was to be installed through an antique wagon. It is finished with solid brass panels to make a grand first impression and has a clear protective coated to maintain the beautiful brass colour up in the temperate hills.
The end result exceeded all our expectations, I’m sure when looking at the photos you will agree, each and every sign lifted the whole experience of what was already an enchanting and tranquil getaway.
